Volunteering FAQs

  • No. We welcome both veterans and community members. Anyone who wants to support local veterans is invited to get involved.

  • Opportunities vary, but often include:

    • Assisting with moves

    • Helping with home repairs

    • Supporting events (set-up, welcome table, clean-up)

    • Office or organizational support

    • Special projects as needed

    We match volunteers to tasks that fit their interests and abilities.

  • There is no set requirement. Some volunteers help once a month, others help a few times a year, and some assist as needs arise. You choose what works for you.

  • For most tasks, no formal training is required. If a project does require specific instructions, our team or another experienced volunteer will guide you.

  • Yes. We welcome pairs, families, service clubs, and community groups. Group volunteering is especially helpful during events and larger projects.
